Dr. Kwok graduated with the MB ChB, and received his training in Orthopaedic and Traumatology at Queen Mary Hospital. He completed his Orthopaedic Specialty fellowship with the HK Academy of Medicine and the HK College of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and at the same time received the “Sir Harry Fang Gold Medal Award” at the Fellowship examination. He has a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation by the Flinders University in Australia. He had completed International fellowship program at the Japanese Association of Rehabilitation, and AO travelling fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York. He was also the visiting fellow of the Sunnybrook and Women’s College Health Science Center, Toronto, the Harborview Medical Center, Seattle, and the Mayo Visiting Clinician, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, U.S.A.
Dr. Kwok served at the Department of Orthopaedic and Traumatology of the University of Hong Kong Medical Centre at the Queen Mary Hospital since 1992, and he was the Chief of the Division of Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Service and the Centre for Spinal Disorders at the Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital before he left Queen Mary Hospital. He is now serving as the Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of Department of Orthopaedic and Traumatology, the University of Hong Kong. He had served at the Hong Kong College of Orthopaedic College as the vice-chairman of the Rehabilitation Subspecialty Board before, and he is the now the corresponding reviewer of the Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and other peer reviewed journals.
